Requirements

The website is providing a platform for donors, not-for-profit organisations and legal / financial advisors. This platform provides the functions for donors to search an organisation based on a group of criterias, make enquiries to selected organisation then search a legal / financial advisor to prepare a will / bequest.

The full records of all organisations in the website are made as a directory. This directory can be downloaded as a PDF file for local copy.

Not-for-organisations can register themselves through the form on the website then make a payment for a registration fee. Different prices are applied depending on listing type. "Premium listing" allows the organisation to be displayed first on the search result page and have a full page of advertisement on the PDF version of the full directory.

Legal / financial advisors can register themselves through the form with fixed listing price.

Each registered organisation / advisor is asked to pay the annual fee for listing. Then an expiry date will be generated. The system will automatically send renewal notifications to account owners to pay the fee for the next year in order to stay on the listing.

Each paid account owner has a username/password pair to access the profile and do updatings.

The forgotten username / password can be found back by "password recovery form" and the credential data will be sent to nominated email address.

The directory system also provides the administrator of the website ability of managing all organisations and advisors through a unified control panel. Management includes account management, payment tracking, and data export.

For search engine optimisation purpose, all organisations and advisors have urls like "http://www.mybequest.net.au/organisation/xxx-xxxxx-xxxxx" as friendly URL for easy access and indexed by search engines.

Full functionalities include:

• Two search forms with criterias for organisations and advisors
• Search result list of organisations and advisors
• Each organisation / advisor has its own page with description, contact details and organisations will have uploaded photos showing
• Enquiry forms on each organisation's (advisor's) page
• "Make a bequest form" on each organisation's page for generating formal and printer-friendly document of bequest
• Full directory as PDF file auto-generated and downloadable
• Registration forms for organisations / advisors to register on the website
• Online payment gateway integration for real-time payment processing
• Management system for all accounts of organisations and advisors listed on the website
• Email notifications on events such as record updated, new registration submitted, payment submitted and account renewal notices
• Payment tracking system
• Data of full directory export to Microsoft Excel file
• All links of the website are SEO friendly and the sitemap has been submitted to Google for indexing
